I Hate LUV Storys

...a young and vibrant love story with tremendous appeal for the yuppies.

Candy floss floats. Popcorn rules. Go, chew on it.

...it's Imran and Sonam's collective persona and their free-flowing chemistry that makes all the difference. Although the pair deserve better than an amateurishly written romance to scoop out their terrific potential as a combination.

The film never equals the sum of all its part, but it’s impossible to deny the energy with which it keeps the plot ticking on.

For the cheeky comedy that often laughs at itself and largely for Imran Khan, this is a likely weekend treat, served sizzling hot.

Inspite of the lack of a credible story and the predictable ending, this film is worth a watch mainly because of the appropriate candy coloured cinematography, reams of sparkling wit, great comedic timing and humorously edged performances provide for some consistent pop-corn styled entertainment!

You may not be a great fan of candy floss cinema, but do watch "I Hate Luv Storys"... it's refreshing.

...oozes a fair amount of charm. For the viewer, exasperated by the ragbag of movies in recent months, here’s a designer bottle of balm.

It attempts to be differently similar to the various cliched romantic films, but it is pretty much like one, to the point where it actually makes fun of itself.

It's not just the writing, which can be as pallid as the production design is vibrant. We've had it till here with the re-enatment of recent YashRaj and Karan Johar film scenes.

Was there any good reason why they had to give us one more reason to cringe at love stories? Sure, I hate luv storys makes for a decent date flick, but it's not perfect and neither is it the kind of imperfect which is out and out enjoyable.

If you hate love stories this one’s certainly not for you. Which means this ends up being another love story!

The writing tries to be smart and fresh but ends up sounding forced and muddled, while there is no attempt at any layering.

Extremely winning leads do their best to add freshness to a film that feels a decade old (and about as long).

...stretches on and on and, despite its best intentions, says nothing new about Bollywood’s treatment of love and relationships.

It is full of endless chatter but the dialogue is inane and boring. So things get too stretched out and long-drawn.
