...is truly a scary movie, which comes across as a worthy follow up to RAAZ and 1920.

...is filled with hair raising sequences that keep you on the edge of your seats. The movie is engrossing with sequences canned with utmost care and is filled with many thrill seeking moments.

The film works not so much due to its story. Rather, it's the way Vikram Bhatt tells his story -- with a certain polish and pizzazz -- that draws you in.

Shaapit , like most formulaic frightful films, is a horror flick where the tone, tempo and variation of the background score determines the moment of spook.

...manages to surpass and create a new level in the horror genre. Minus the clichéd dialogues and some over exaggerated scenes, the film is good enough.

After a spate of bad horror movies of late this one is a welcome change. Now it’s not stand up and clap cinema but it atleast keeps you on the edge of your sit and makes you think.

Watch it if you're a die-hard horror freak and for the debut of Aditya Narayan, the future star on the horizon.

...doesn’t work largely because the characters don’t. We don’t care at all about the glossy-lipped girl, or the expressionless boy. They are one-dimensional characters constantly doing things out of their league and desperate for an applause.
